SHIPPING POLICY


Shipping Policies:

By using and purchasing through this site, you automatically acknowledge and agree to our store policies. We reserve the right to change these policies at any time. 

MULTIPLE ORDERS: We will combine multiple orders and we will refund the excess shipping charges. The only time we do not combine orders is if you have ordered ready to ship items in one order and pre-order items in another separate order. The ready to ship items will go ahead and ship unless you instruct us otherwise.

SHIPPING & HANDLING: We do pass on all commercial shipping rates. As we are a small business, we cannot provide Amazon-style shipping prices and time frames.  We do our best to figure shipping costs appropriately. We will refund excess shipping charges by our discretion. We appreciate your understanding.

SHIPPING INFORMATION:  Orders weighing 15 oz or less will be mailed First Class only unless the items are too bulky OR other arrangements have been made. Packages with a value of 100.01 and up will require additional insurance. Orders of 100.00 and up will also require a signature confirmation. You may waive this fee and ask for this to be refunded to you. However, you must accept full responsibility if something detrimental happens to the package. We will not refund or replace your purchase.

USPS Priority Mail is a very reliable service. However, there are times packages can be misdelivered or go missing due to package theft. BE AWARE OF YOUR LOCATION: If the tracking shows your package was delivered and you claim you did not receive your package; we cannot file a claim with the USPS. As a result, we will not be able to refund or replace your purchase. If you have any concerns whatsoever, please contact me and we will require a signature delivery for your order, no matter the amount of the order. This may require an additional payment. 

FPO/APO: We are happy to ship packages to our service members and their families overseas.

Product Refunds will be determined on an individual basis. Please keep in mind that every nose is different, and scents may be perceived differently per person. We do our best to describe the scents based upon the fragrance and essential oils that are used and descriptions given from the manufacturers. We strictly adhere to proper usage rates as set forth by the fragrance source.   We develop our recipes based on what works for dry/sensitive skin, and what works in water in our area. Not only do all people have different skin types but we also use different water (soft, hard, etc.). Both factors will affect how our handcrafted product function, (luxurious for the skin instead of just cleansing) will bubble and suds and affect how our skin feels after use. 

Absolutely NO RETURNS on bath products due to the fact that they are personal products and even unopened, we choose not to resell the product since it has been out of our supervision.  All bath products are pressure sealed to maintain freshness and protection.  After the seal is broken, the product should be used within six to 12 months.

Candles can be returned within 30 days if they have not been used.  Wax melts can be returned as well if the package has not been opened.  Please contact us within 2 days with pictures if a candle arrives broken or damaged.  NO REFUND without pictures.

Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been shipped.

We reserve the right to cancel any unshipped order.

BATH PRODUCTS:

The Ingredients We Use:
We use high quality oils and often organic oils and butters in our recipes. Note ingredients for each product listed to know exactly what is in the product you are purchasing.  All soaps contain sodium hydroxide (lye). However, the sodium hydroxide is neutralized in the saponification process. Soap cannot be made without sodium hydroxide. We scent our products with fragrance oils or essential oils. Please use caution whenever using a body product containing essential oils. Be informed and know what essential oils may affect your body and medical issues. We use essential oils for scent only.   Suppliers often change this information on their site without notification to us also. Strength of scent after cure will vary so some soaps will have a lighter or stronger scent than others. We color our bath products using micas, oxides, pigments, natural herbal colorants, and titanium dioxide which is a naturally occurring whitening agent. Some colorants will ‘bleed’ some of their color. This is normal. We only use biodegradable plastic-free glitter for our products.  All toppings typically wash off with the first use.  We use coconut milk to keep our products vegan. etc. We occasionally use honey, coffee, teas, herbs, spices, and dry flowers

CANDLES:

Candles and wax melts are made from Soy, Soy blends (contains a small amount of food grade paraffin), and Soy/Coconut mix.  The contents will be stated with each product one the website and the label.  All wax products will cure for no less than 5 days.

ALLERGY WARNING: We use a variety of ingredients in our products. At some point, one ingredient may have been in contact with another ingredient. This would be similar to a warning that says, "This product has been processed in a facility that also processes ______". Please contact us if you have more questions.

GENERAL PRODUCT WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS:

It is the responsibility of the user of the products to use the products properly. Always be aware of personal allergies and irritations. Spot test all skin products prior to full use. If any products cause irritation, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. Only use scented wax appropriately and using an approved warmer. Bohemian Beehive LLC is not responsible for injuries or accidents.
